Cape Verde
+-From 2015 to 2024, he lent his voice to tastings in the capital's restaurants and bars, aware of his greatest dream: to take to the big national and international stages, to conquer his homeland. He represented Cape Verde at the Biennial of Young People of the PALOP, in Mozambique, and performed on stages in several other islands in the country of Morabeza, always leaving verses and rhymes on blank sheets of paper that would give shape to his first album entitled “Sonho”.
“Kuzinha di luz”, "Sistema Operativo” and “Bem pa mi” are dedications to feminine beauty, but deep down, they are still a demonstration of Leroy as a person: love in the details, in the 7 titles.
On April 8th, at 12:10 pm, at the Palácio da Cultura Ildo Lobo, Leroy Pinto takes to the AME stage, this time accompanied by a band, a moment that always allows him to let loose more and have more fun.

Brazil
+-Born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, but reached souls overseas, also, through Brazilian soap operas. There are not 10, there are 21 songs chosen to give light and love to the plots of the land that gave her life.
Soft, with eyes of the universe and a girl's soul dressed in love, Roberta Campos is a multifaceted artist who discovered herself in music at a young age.
Between “Para aquelas perguntas tortas” (2008) and the recent “Coisas de viver” (2025), “Todo caminho é sorte” (2015) was nominated for a Latin Grammy, as Best MBP Album. 6 albums, millions of connections, for years she has seen the world with her heart and touched everyone with her music.

Cape Verde
+-A strong soul, dressed in music, a voice of the land, Zulu's music is a constant metamorphosis, mixing the ancestral rhythms of Cape Verde with the free spirit of jazz, the depth of blues and the soul of soul.
Zulu takes to the AME stage to make the world hear and feel her music in a completely new way, on April 8th, at 6:40 pm, on Rua Pedonal.

Guiné-Bissau
+-One fine day, his voice was tuned into the radio, it reached the ears of the artist Princezito and they joined hands for life. Between the Summer 2008 program and third place in the Pop Star contest, in Cape Verde, it was a leap to recording his first single, in 2015, and his first album, in 2017, produced by Maurício Pacheco, in Rio de Janeiro.
Feet on the ground and heart in the world, he joined voices and love for tradition and founded AZAGUA, among friends, by friends for the world. Today she sings solo, amid souls that fall silent to feel her and bodies that lose themselves in the splendor of this woman of the earth. Hot, fearless, mother of two, music wife.
“Praia-Bissau” could be the umbilical cord of the “golden girl”, with infinite secrets in her soul, but certain that the whole world is her stage.
Fattu Djakité will be on stage at AME on April 8th, at 7:25 pm, at Pracinha.

Mozambique
+-With 3 albums to her name, Isabel Novella combines elements of marrabenta, afro-soul, jazz and pop-world, having already performed on the stages of prestigious music festivals. It's not about luck, it's about the belief and struggle of a creative soul, always open to collaborating, learning, sharing and that balances between African rhythms and Western influences. A voice of the world.
On April 8th, 8:10 pm, on Rua Pedonal, with the desire to experience unknown places, Isabel Novela chooses the AME stage to look into the eyes and speak to different souls.

Cape Verde
+-He carries in his soul this nation that gave him a voice, warm, gentle and intense, in a purposeful exchange of “kola funana” or “pila Sanjon”, alternating from coladeira to sung choro, which mixes, however, with the song of the tabanka, with a natural and simple flavor based on inspirations/learnings that go from Manel d’Novas to Tcheka.
Arymar, dressed in this tradition that covers his soul, takes to the AME stage this country of the Sampadiu race, which he dreams of seeing in the same rhyme, in the same equality.

Cape Verde
+-Poet, he follows the maxim “will to believe”, among metaphors that define the poems born from the fingertips, where he also feels the dreams; after all, Cj Patronato is the National Champion (Cape Verde) of Spoken Word.
Singer and composer, he tastes words, feels them in his soul and blows them in the wind. On the open street, in closed spaces or on large stages. In 2018, he began working as a professional artist and released “Rap Trospectiva”, a realistic breath of fresh air for the social change he believes is necessary.
From there to Alkimia, it was the cutting of its inner stone and its transformation into gold; he outlined dreams, healed wounds and delved even deeper into music.
The Cape Verdean rapper will take to the AME stage on April 8th, at 9:40 pm, on Rua Pedonal, and it will certainly be a space for discovering the inner stone of each one.

Senegal
+-Sahad's music is like a “taxi brousse” - a traditional African public transport, which travels the world in search of the riches that arise from differences in order to share them. From Afro to jazz, from blues to folk and funk, their African and cosmic influences blend in a unique way, giving rise to kaleidoscopic music.
On April 8th, at 10:25 pm, at Pracinha, come and check out this strong, once gentle presence, which brings us another piece of our Africa, from behind the gate.

Cape Verde
+-Voice of carnival, of tocatinas, of nights in Foguenses, of Cape Verde, the girl of traditional music knows that other rhythms are necessary for a small market like the country that gave her life.
The journey is not easy, but the gratitude you carry in your chest shows you the light to make your big dreams come true, always proud of your journey; after all, on the road of life, there is an answer for everything and Yacine Rosa, as the fighting woman that she is, is not afraid of her destiny.

Spain
+-Specializing in Latin American music, she studied at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where she honed her ability to fuse styles and tell the world through music. Each of Raquel's works brings in its essence inclusion, cultural integration and artistic innovation, in a sweet, delicate and poetic way, like the artist.
Traslasierra (2020), Mil Cosas (2021) and Nizami (2022) are portraits of a sensitive artist, nurtured by her love for music and for telling stories about people from here and there.
On April 9th, at 2:10 pm, Raquel invites you to a sublime moment of union, love and longing, which go so well with the people of the islands.

Italy
+-Their vibrant fusion of funk, soul, Latin rhythms, ska and punk has already turned on the lights of big stages for them, such as Boomtown Fair, Fusion Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival. Always festive and grateful for everything, especially for the opportunity to be a part of it.
With four albums released, including the recent “Yen Ko” (2023), Rumba de Bodas continues to enchant audiences with its contagious energy and free and optimistic spirit; an invitation to keep your gaze open to the world, to human connection.
On April 9th, at 6:40 pm, on Rua Pedonal, get ready for an explosive experience, with a band as familiar with big stages as it is with the hidden bars of Italian streets. Perfect for this country lined by the sea.

Guiné Bissau
+-Daughter of Cabral's two countries, the singer and composer mixes contemporary elements with traditional roots from Guinea-Bissau, whose approach brings themes such as hope, compassion and the appreciation of women. Women, mother, earth, always.
Karyna Gomes, studied journalism, plays the instrument Tina and sings to the four winds the celebration of love to save the world.
She sings in the Creole of the land that gave her birth, shouting to the heavens the blessings that allow the girl who sheds her shyness to take to the stage, aware that “the shy do not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven”.
“Mindjer" (2014) and "N’na" (2021), mix love for music, voices of brother artists, children of other nationalities and bare the soul of a complete artist, strong for knowing well her origin, race and African identity.
On April 9th, at 7:25 pm, at Pracinha, Karyna Gomes borrows the wings of these small islands and flies in her own mix, like a daughter who was born in other lands

Cape Verde
+-Over time, building new friendships, focused on his studies, but with music always present, he joined a Hip Hop group called “Rap Soldiers”, where he was a founding member, singing and becoming more and more entrenched in the world of music and increasingly certain that music would be part of his life. Later, accompanied by his guitar, he ventured into his own compositions.
With his father having emigrated to Holland in 1990/1991, he made the decision to abandon his studies and join the same profession as his father, working for eight years as a sailor.
Music has always been his great passion, so in 2018 he made it his profession.
In 2019, he took part in the voice competition (Todo Mundo Canta), where he was named the winner at regional and national level. The contest served as a catapult for his musical career and in a short space of time he conquered his audience and his space on the Cape Verdean music scene, especially on the island of São Vicente.
He has performed on several stages on the island of Monte Cara, including Morna Fest, Festival Baia das Gatas, among others, sharing the stage with big names in Cape Verdean music.
In 2020 he was forced to take a break and leave many plans for his career in “Banho Maria” due to the COVID pandemic. Not giving up on his projects, with the new normal settling in, it was time to continue his projects.
The opportunity soon arose to sign his first contract with the Lusafrica label, where two albums will be recorded.
A promising young artist who promises to do and give a lot to Cape Verdean music.

Cape Verde
+-Yacine Rosa & band are ready for a new stage, or a new challenge in the musical world, to take Cape Verdean music out into the world, representing the flag and the true musicality of Cape Verde.
The versatile vocalist, with years of experience in concerts, has performed at festivals on various Cape Verde islands, with her work already available on YouTube, as well as interpreting various songs and styles of our traditional music.

Québec Canada / Haiti
+-After all, this African spirit is fluent in 5 languages, from Haitian Creole to Portuguese, committed to social justice and the promotion of Haitian cultural heritage through art; in fact, Vox Sambou promotes the entire African cultural heritage.
With a big smile and a gentle presence, Vox Sambou is an MC and poet who fuses traditional Haitian rhythms with Afrobeat, jazz, reggae and hip-hop, creating a unique sound that addresses social issues and promotes solidarity.
On April 9th, at 9:40 pm, on Rua Pedonal, AME brings Vox Sambou to this country of morabeza that knows and feels the meaning of “African Diaspora” so well.

Morocco
+-The musical repertoire of the group is mainly inspired by the diversified heritage (Ahidous, Ahwash, Izlan, Timnadine, Tagnawit) of the southeast Anti_atlas region by inviting several from around the world such as Rock&Roll, Blues, Desert Rock, linking tradition with modernity.

Senegal/France
+-Whether acoustic or electric, she knows how to express that deep and evocative vocal timbre that resonates as a defining characteristic of West African music.
Residing in Europe for several years, she has performed at major festivals, and her voice delights millions of viewers during her performances on television competitions.

Cape Verde
+-In 2003 she formed her first batuco group Tradison di Terra. Since then, they have taken part in local and international events (such as Portugal, France, the United States of America, Holland, Luxembourg, Spain), gaining prominence at the Festival of Black Arts in Algeria and Senegal (2009), and quickly gaining popularity with the public.
In 2012, in partnership with Eduíno from Grupo Ferro Gaita and producer Gugas Veiga, they released their first album “Nôs Bandera”, winner of the 2013 CVMA awards.
In 2018, on his own initiative and with the support of his family, he released his second album “Nhor Des Criador”, which once again won the CVMA 2022 award in the traditional music category.
The third album, which has been available on digital platforms since February 2024, entitled “Mai é Valor” was produced by Lokotanu Produções in partnership with João Batista Alves.
Taresa's musical influences are deeply rooted in Cape Verdean culture and his captivating lyrics reflect personal and collective experiences, from life in the interior of Santiago to themes such as immigration, everyday difficulties and social issues.
Taresa Fernandes is a true guardian of Cape Verdean traditions. Her voice and songs touch our hearts and remind us of the beauty and importance of keeping alive the heritage left by our ancestors.

Portugal
+-Its name, Danças Ocultas, comes from the fact of they were creating a kind of music for which the dancing was not yet invented. The inspiration comes from chamber music, from Nuevo Tango, and from other urban tradicional music environments. “Impressionist Folk” is perhaps the best label for this kind of timeless art music: minimalism, deep sound paintings full of unexpected twists and noble melancholy. A very special music – it’s impossible to escape from its magnetism.
In 2025 the quartet Danças Ocultas is completing 36 years of artistic activity and it wishes to revisit its repertoire in a new affirmation of music as a language of universal brotherhood, towards new musical adventures.

Angola
+-In activity since 2011, the band is recognised by their deeply intense and energetic live shows that have left a trail of sweat and cheerfulness all over Europe and also Latin America.
Having stepped some of the most important festival stages of the European continent, they also reach beyond their concerts with a deep discography.
In their first decade of existence, they have produced six albums and several singles that carry collaborations with artists from all over the world and that demonstrate their creative wanderlust within the global dance music genre.
If adventure, innovation and celebration are words that fill you with enthusiasm, Throes + The Shine should be the destination you choose for your next journey!

Cape Verde
+-Raised in Praia, she was immersed in music, performing on stages and developing a passion for storytelling through song and poetry.
After the pandemic, Queency focused on her music career, joining "The Camp EP" in 2021, collaborating with Cabo Verdean artists. Her standout performance on "100Travon" opened doors for shows in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Cabo Verde.
Embracing Rap Kriolu and Hip-Hop, she blends modern sounds with her heritage, sharing stages with artists like Tito Paris, Djodje, and CKay.

Cape Verde
+-Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, DIEG uses his cultural background and the experiences he has gained as a musician on international tours to build a remarkable solo career.
In 2024, he stood out with performances in the Netherlands, at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, and when he sold out the emblematic B.Leza hall in his debut at the venue. The repertoire included previously unreleased songs, which will form part of her long-awaited first album.
His solo show transcends music. Combining intimacy and energy, it's a show full of strength and emotion. In it, DIEG gives himself completely, creating an engaging experience that connects audience and artist, promoting a sincere and unforgettable dialog.

I started my career on Ilha do Maio in 2009, DJing a party at the Tarraxinha nightclub.
In 2010, I was invited to take part in a big event, an electronic tent that was still amateurish, but I was very interested and dedicated myself entirely to playing at parties, at just 16 years old, in any place that needed a DJ.
In 2013, I traveled to Santiago Island to study and it was there that I began my work as a DJ in 2014, livening up parties organized by youth groups that had associations in different areas of the city of Praia, such as matinees in electronic tents.
In 2018, I started working professionally in some clubs, such as Cockpit, Aqva and Eclipse. Over time, I began to gain residency as a DJ in nightclubs such as Osteria and Kebra Cabana.
In the same year, I received an invitation from Dj Banzi to be part of the organization of national and international events at SIGUI SABURA, where I act as the official Dj of the house and participate in events such as CV Color, Escape, I Love CV Aloha and Boca Bock.
In 2022 I took part not only in the biggest festival on the island of Maio (September 8) but also on stage at Bikini Beach on the island of Sal and Morazeba in Boa Vista.
I also had the opportunity to take part in the electronic music festival held in Praia do São Francisco by producer Terra Sagrada, where I played alongside great international and national DJs such as Boddhi Satva, Satelite, Viken Arman, Lilly Palmer, Frakear, Cincity, Hebraico, Axel and Streladuh.
Since then, I've been working hard to hone my skills as a DJ and offer my fans the best possible musical experience. I love throwing parties, creating new mixes and I'm always looking for new inspiration to make each event unique and special.
